Detailed Schedule
  This is the software that we plan to have available for your use during the contest:
  • Base Windows NT/2000 software
      Such as - but not limited to:
    • Notepad
    • MS-DOS Prompt
  • Netscape
  • Internet Explorer
  • Vim
  • Gvim
  • Xemacs
  • IBM Visual Age Java
  • IBM Visual Age C/C++
  • Borland Delphi
  • IBM Java JDK (for command line runs)
  • PC^2
  • Batch files to compile and run for each language

Other languages/tools exist on these machines (many). When logged into your NT Team account, you will not have permission to use them. The choice of languages and tools is modeled directly from the ACM International Programming Contest. We apologize if your favorite editor/language/etc. is not available. Our goal is to produce a contest as close to International as we can (within reason). Our hope is that the team(s) that advance from this region to International will be as competitve as possible in the expected environment.

NOTE: Always save your files in C:\temp. This is the only place you are supposed to write to.
