The Computer Lab in Coates Hall will be available from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM for teams to practice. Any code typed during this time will be lost. Teams will also be able to register and get their packets during the early part of the evening.

At 6:00 PM we plan to have the traditional Welcome (complete with Pizza and Cola) in the Coates Auditorium. At 7:00 PM, our invited speaker will be Will Hatcher, Head of the New Orleans Computer Crime Unit of the FBI (tentative). Following this talk, we will have the formal review of the rules and procedures. Any and all questions will be taken at this time (hopefully answered also). It is important for all teams to be present during this time (if possible).

On Saturday at 9:15 AM, the practice contest will start. Teams will need to be at their assigned locations before this time. Your packets will include your location and your team logonid. When the Practice Contest is over, all teams and coaches should returnto the Coates Auditorium. Lunch (planned sandwiches and colas) will be served and a last minute Rules Clarification Session will be held. Contest logonids and passwords will be distributed.

At noon, the contest will start and run for 5 hours. Afterwards, the Awards Banquet will be held in the Student Union Ballroom.
